One pair of magnets.  These are Level 10 grade compression molded Hi-Torque poly motor magnets.  Specifically made to fit Viper V-3, V1, BSRT G3-R and Tomy Super G Plus cars.  

Hi-Torque magnets have a full closed back profile design that increases magnetic energy towards the armature.  The result is a much stronger magnetic projection into the armature than traditional light weight back magnets.
